The Early Years in Pictures

The 1930's was the start of the Armenian Community in Indian Orchard with a new community building. While families adjusted to their new life in America, they maintained their sense of Armenian identity.

Armenians have been in "The Orchard" for at least a decade when WWII starts. Many sons of the original immigrants were drafted into the war and served overseas.

In this decade, St Gregory Church was renovated and expanded. The Church and its members continued to be an integral part of the Springfield Community.
